Today, we hit the National Mall again and made sure to stop by the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, where they put their very own crystal skull on display today. In case you've been in a cave during the first half of this year, the crystal skulls grew in pop culture popularity due to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. This one was donated to the Smithsonian by an anonymous donor who claimed it was pre-Columbian Aztec. Tests, however, indicate it is more modern of a creation--after the mid 19th century to be exact. Heh, interesting stuff.
So Paul took his stand in the open space at the Areopagus and laid it out for them: "I'm here to introduce you to this God.... He doesn't play hide-and-seek with us. He's not remote; he's near. We live and move in him, can't get away from him!" ~Acts 17
