The 2010 Hugo Awards--which recognize excellence in science fiction and fantasy--are out, and congratulations to David Tennent (above), writers Russell Davies and Phil Ford, and director Graeme Harper for their win of "Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form" for "The Waters of Mars" episode of Doctor Who. This series--which has brought a lot of God-talk into these open spaces--continues to impress both in form and story, and I'm glad to see it recognized once more.Hat tip to Blastr.
