Okay, that was funny

Last night, my husband and I watched our DVR'd copy of Monday's episode of Boston Legal, ABC's irreverent law drama that has made more than one appearance on this blog. The episode aired the night before election day, and had a definate election-oriented theme. While I was disheartened by some of the exchanges I witnessed prior to the election, I must admit, I didn't witness any political exchanges quite like the one above (go here if it doesn't play), which takes place between best friends Alan Shore (James Spader) and Denny Crane (William Shatner). Heh. I guess sometimes laughter can be the best medicine.

Friendly warning: there is some offensive language in this clip. miscctgy

This is why I left the Christian right and joined the alternate Kingdom of God and its hidden life in God, with help from Greg Boyd and many internet and library friends. It is very funny and makes a point.
