Snapshots from my day

I spent most of the day as a chaperon at a pumpkin farm about an hour south of town with 22 kindergartners from my son's class at school. It was an absolutely beautiful day, plenty of sunshine and crisp temps. And I am so tired I could fall asleep sitting up. My son, on the other hand, is outside rollerblading as I type. But then, he and his little friend slept on the school bus the entire way back. And I didn't. In fact, Starbucks held my salvation to make it through most of the rest of the afternoon. And that's wearing off about now, heh. But it was all worth it. This earth and its creatures are stunningly gorgeous.
