More BSG? Let's hope so!

Normally, I'd squish this into one of my posts of big and small screen tidbits, but what the heck. I'm hot (it's in the 90s again, geesh), bored and needing to kill about half an hour before I begin grilling fajitas. Yum. Anyway, here's the tasty morsel: Chicago Tribune's Maureen Ryan is reporting that there could be 12 hours (rather than the planned 10) left in the Battlestar Galactica series (hat tip AICN). Apparantly series exec producer Ron Moore penned an extra long series finale and they're looking into the possibility of shooting it all. What's the scuttlebutt? Take a gander:
Mary McDonnell described her reaction to the script this way: It filled her with "an incredible feeling of adrenaline,” she told Ain't It Cool News. “It made me understand the entire saga, and made me excited for all of you.”

Heh. Let's hope so. Too bad we have to wait until 2009 to see those last 10-12 hours. Frak.

In the meantime, you can catch the mid-season finale, "Revelations," tonight on Sci-Fi. For my thoughts on the previous episode, go here. For a collection of posts about the God-talk this series brings into open spaces, go here.

Update: Oh, sometimes I almost get jealous. Heh.
