Yesterday evening, the kids and I drove into D.C. to pick up their dad at the airport. We left a bit early so that we could drive around the Jefferson Memorial area and see the cherry blossoms. These photos (taken with my cell phone) don't do these trees justice. It was other-worldly. Beautiful. I'm just sorry it was too dark after we picked up my husband to take him around to see them too.
So Paul took his stand in the open space at the Areopagus and laid it out for them: "I'm here to introduce you to this God.... He doesn't play hide-and-seek with us. He's not remote; he's near. We live and move in him, can't get away from him!" ~Acts 17
