Here on the East Coast, the clouds cleared out brilliantly (there's nothing like watching silver-blue-and-white clouds race along in full moonlight) in time to see the eclipse of the moon. Our four-year-old son was already asleep, exhausted from a day in the snow, but our nine-year-old daughter joined us on the front stoop to gaze at the marvel through binoculars. We didn't stay out long, though. It was freezing (below, actually)!
So Paul took his stand in the open space at the Areopagus and laid it out for them: "I'm here to introduce you to this God.... He doesn't play hide-and-seek with us. He's not remote; he's near. We live and move in him, can't get away from him!" ~Acts 17
