No matter how you feel about Dumbledore's outing by Rowlings, this slice from an opinion piece in Canada's Globe and Mail (by subscription only, unfortunately) is a priceless observation from a more "literary" standpoint:
Literature is so much more elastic, so much more liberating, when it is unshackled from the actual business of writing. Prose is a prison. Interviews, post-publication, are the wave of the storytelling future.
