This is the view I get from my hammock in my backyard. Too bad I'm not getting to spend much time in it today. It's our last day of summer--the day before school begins. Back in Alabama, they've been going to school for at least two or three weeks, but they don't start here until after Labor Day. Anyway, I'm getting laundry done for the week, getting together last minute school supplies, filling out and signing school slips and cards, and making sure the kids drink deep of this last day and soak up the summer's last rays.Not that our kids aren't looking forward to school--they are.
But not as much as me. Heh.
