I'm not entirely sure why I was one of the millions of women who was gripped by Diana's death, but I was. Ten years later, I am still captivated by her. If I had to pin down why, I would venture it is an empathy with her brokenness and desperate search for love and meaning, to make a difference, to find purpose--a brokenness and quest with which many of us can identify, but in Diana was amplified.
