Brilliant shadows

Sometimes, walking with Jesus feels a bit like looking at shadows. Particularly when I’m wrestling with the reality of I-know-only-in-part but longing now for then-I-will-know-fully. When I bump into that Corinthian mirror, squint, shade my eyes and try to make out that full-ness in his shadows, shadows oh-so-more brilliant than the sun.
