No blogging last night

As I've said many times before on this blog, one of the things I love about living in the South is the thunderstorms. Yesterday evening, a line of thunderstorms moved west across Alabama, crossing over Montgomery just around sunset. This storm skirted us to the north, but another rolled in just after the sun sank below the horizon. As my family and I stood on the front porch watching the rain, a flash of lightening lasted long enough and was bright enough to fool the streetlights into thinking it was daylight. Heh, they turned off.

Well, that brilliant flash of lightening also shut down our internet connection until this morning, so this post didn't make it up until now. But it was worth it.

Oh, how I hope there are thunderstorms in heaven.
