Friday, it was 97 degrees – but the heat index was above 100.
2. Favorite way(s) to beat the heat.
Air conditioning. Air conditioning. Did I mention air conditioning?
3. "It's not the heat, it's the humidity." Evaluate this statement.
Heh, I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and I’m telling you that 120 degrees of that desert heat is far better than 97 degrees of this Deep South furnace. Trust me.
4. Discuss one or more of the following: sauna, hot tub, sweat lodge, warm-stone massage.
Are those things you do when you don’t have kids?
5. Hottest you've ever been in your life.
Driving up California’s Central Valley Highway 99 on the back of my husband’s motorcycle in 110-plus heat. Heh, the pavement was so soft that the kickstand melted into the asphalt when we stopped at the gas station. Being young really can make you stupid, heh.
Non-temperature related bonus: In your opinion... who's hot?
My husband. Oh, baby!
