Finding wisdom

The next column (Where is wisdom?) in a 13-week series I’m writing for Mennonite Weekly Review is online. It begins:

An average bookstore is filled with books claiming to know how to get the best life and solve the world’s problems. The range of worldviews, philosophies and religions claiming to have the answers seems endless.

As Christians, however, we know there’s one book where we find true understanding and knowledge on how to live this life and relate to the people and world around us. That book includes a collection of proverbs written by a wise sage who leads us to the only place perfect wisdom is found: God and God alone.
