Favorite Movie Moment: A far green country

In Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, the hobbit Pippin and Gandalf the wizard crouch, waiting for the Orc army to break through the doors. Pippin looks up at Gandalf, sad.

Pippin: I didn’t think it would end this way.

Galdalf looks down at the hobbit, surprised.

Gandalf: End? No, the journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it.

Gandalf looks off, his thoughts far away.

Pippin: What, Gandalf? See what?

The wizard looks back at the hobbit.

Gandalf: White shores, and beyond. A far green country under a swift sunrise.

Gandalf sighs deeply and smiles gently. Pippin smiles back.

Pippin: Well, that isn’t so bad.

Gandalf: No. No, it isn’t.
