Open Space's 79th Oscar picks

A few years ago, I attended an Oscar party hosted by some good friends where we had a friendly little contest to see who could "predict" (most of mine were guesses) the most winners--and I won, heh.

Since then, each year I like to see if I can repeat my victory. Unfortunately, I think it was beginner's luck. Anyway, here's my "predictions" for this year. Some are educated predictions, others are the favored, and some are the ones I hope win in spite of the odds (ie, Pan's Labyrinth). I also left out a few categories because I'm completely unfamiliar with any of the entries.

Update: Ouch, I only predicted 13 out of 21 right. But Pan's Labyrinth got three of 'em!
